How to adopt

You’re going to need a terrarium/vivarium for them (preferably with some height), enough plants and enrichment features to allow them to feel safe, and a plan for how to feed them.

When you contact me, please mention your froglet housing plans — I haven’t met you yet, even though I’m sure you’re awesome! I just want to make sure these guys have happy, safe lives. I’m sure you want to do that too! It would be a kindness to reassure me.

I’m asking for a donation of $35 or more (sliding scale up to $200) to the organizations mentioned on the home page, too. I am not selling these animals – the donation is all. I’m not a member of nor direct beneficiary of either organization.

(I could consider selling one of my vivaria/terraria, though — I’m not going to need this much space once the babies are adopted).

These are two worthwhile organizations, and some of their members have been very helpful to me as I figured out how to take care of these babies. In addition, protecting and learning about wild frogs is worthwhile for a number of reasons.

If all that sounds good, please please send me a note. I’d love to talk to you!
